Terms & Conditions
Accommodations: first class hotel with private bath; cabin with two lower berths (some convertible to a queen), private bathroom, hair dryer, individual air conditioning control, color TV, telephone. Cabins are assigned first come, first served basis, subject to availability. Special programs: special arrangements created and available exclusively for members of Bob & Ruth's Gluten-Free Dining & Travel Club. All meals gluten-free breakfast, lunch and dinner daily - on table d'hote group menu basis. Sightseeing, special events & group transfers between hotel and the port, via chartered vehicle with guide, including entrance fees. Reservations: a check deposit of $875 per person (which includes a $125 p.p. non-refundable administrative fee) is due with application, or within 7 days of telephone reservation; the balance, which may be charged to a major credit card, is due 5/29/08. To plan and arrange a cruise such as this, months of planning and operational meetings are required. Together with the added costs of special gluten-free food staples, these fixed costs are incorporated into our cruise price. A certain minimum number of participants is required in order to run this program. Cancellations, refunds: cancellation charges cover non-refundable expenses and administrative costs, and protect fares for other participants. Travel / trip cancellation insurance is recommended; an application will be sent with your confirmation. A full refund, less $375 p.p. cancellation charge, will be given if notice of cancellation is received more than 180 days before departure; between 180 and 120 days, a $750 p.p. charge will apply; between 120 and 75 days, a $1,500 charge will apply; within 75 days, there is no refund. Administrative fee is not refundable. Required travel documents: Not included: passport and visa fees, if required; shore excursions; drinks and other items not on the table d'hote menus; purchases from inroom minibars; phone, fax and internet charges; laundry and dry cleaning; items of a purely personal nature. Responsibility: Bob & Ruth's Gluten-Free Dining & Travel Club, Lotus Tours, Ltd. of New York and/or associated companies give notice that all tickets issued by them and all arrangements for transport, accommodations and meals, are made by them as agents for the participant upon the express condition that they shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect of any vehicle or through the acts of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers herewith, or of any hotel/ship proprietor or employees. Itineraries and fares may be affected by changes in air services of the various countries. The right is reserved to withdraw any feature announced in this program and to make such alterations in the itinerary as may be found desirable for the convenience and proper carrying out of the tour.
